Originally from south central Kentucky, we moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2010 for the tech not the twang. In 2023 we packed up and moved to Split, Croatia for a new adventure. After 18 wonderful months in the Adriatic we headed to our next adventure. Back in the states, we're now exploring New England from Providence, RI.

When I was the perfect age for glue sticks my dad let me help finish up the layout for the camera at his print shop. This early experience led me to join the high school yearbook for several of my high school years. I was hooked.

I went into marketing and print design. I've had thousands of my designs in print. The web was growing so I adapted. I became a web accessibility subject matter expert, speaking on the subject several times. I've helped upkeep over 150 websites & application in hands-on technical roles. I've built over 100 websites, over 90 of those I designed from scratch – some of them multiple times.

I have a passion for making the internet accessible for all. I want to help local businesses, non-profits, and communities get a web presence they control and own so they can multiply their abilities and extend their reach.

    C&E Apps are web applications made by Daniel Carter & Ammi Embry. We started building cool things together when the year was mostly zeros.

    Donating custom‑built WordPress websites to nonprofit organizations, providing them with a functional, easy‑to‑manage online presence.

    Hartford & Prudie Willis Family Photos

    A gift to Ammi's Dad. A mostly automated website tied to Google Photo albums so that my paternal family can share historic photos across generations.

For Christmas I sent my middle school aged niece a big bottle of coffee syrup. I just found out she kept it at Granny's for smoothies and has requested another bottle. She just requested another bottle. I've converted my niece in Kentucky to coffee syrup, is this awesome or scary? View Original

Today, Magnus McFluffington turns 14. We had a great weekend celebrating our old man pup. Saturday he got to trek into the woods at Lincoln Woods State Park. Sunday he enjoyed Dogapalooza at Slater Park, where we found a few bags of local homemade treats. Happy 14th birthday! Here's to 14+ more!

Today, Magnus McFluffington turns 14. We had a great weekend celebrating our old man pup. Saturday he got to trek into the woods at Lincoln Woods State Park. Sunday he enjoyed Dogapalooza at Slater Park, where we found a few bags of local homemade treats. Happy 14th birthday! Here's to 14+ more! View Original

Magnus is enjoying his 14th birthday weekend! This morning we took a walk at Lincoln State Park. Cirrus & @slobaum@pixelfed.social explored some side trails while he rested in his wagon. He walked 1¼ miles today in the woods and he got an all clear wellness visit earlier this week. He's our healthy senior man.
