Originally from south central Kentucky, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2010 for the tech not the twang. In 2023 we packed up, sold everything, and moved to Split Croatia to start our lives as Digital Nomads.
In 2015 I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and subsequently I was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. In 2021 I found my ME/CF in remission, for which I count myself very lucky.
When I was the perfect age for glue sticks my dad let me help finish up the layout for the camera. I loved using the same glue-stick I used at school to do big people's work, I also liked the precision it took to line up the text perfectly straight with the blue lines that would not be visible to the plate camera.
This early experience led me to join the high school yearbook for several of my high school years. High school yearbooks in the late 90s were an odd mix of the old and the new, some good old fashion glue-sticks, and some pages painstakingly laid out in PageMaker on one of the two computers available.
After years of experience in design and development of websites and applications, I transferred to a business analyst and project management role. Here I got to use my extensive multi-discipline experience to manage and launch products.
I am one of the founders of a Real Estate startup for which I now serve on the Board of Advisors and an Auction startup for which I am Chief Technology Officer. Our Auction company serves as the largest multiple listing service for auctions in the United States. We proudly serve more auctioneers than any other service or association. We partner with more than half the state and regional Auctioneer Associations in the USA. Our Real Estate application launched and we offer two patented features to add transparency and accessibility to the Real Estate Industry. It's a big hit.
