It was to hot for it this weekend, but I'm obsessed with this new outfit. I've had the necklace since middle school (lifted from my dads room) and I love finding a perfect top for it. View Original

This weekend we had the privilege of watching 2 amazing people marry themselves in Philadelphia. Kyle has been our friend for 20ish years, almost as long as we've known each other. We're so happy he found his perfect match in Lizzy. I've never been in a crowd of people with so much love for 2 people View Original

New haircut today. I'm so happy to have found Salon Bianco here in Providence. Not only do I get an amazing cut, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. #PVD #newhaircut View Original

Duff! But it's non-alcoholic and loaded with vitamin B. It tastes like if you put Tang into a Pipi drink. #duff #simpsons #tang View Original

we've been playing Minecraft together for many years. the mobile port is great (especially if you have a controller like the Kishi or Backbone). it makes it so much easier than it was in years past. it's a lot less like an old school lan-party View Original
How to know if someone has really spent time in Bowling Green. [contains quote post or other embedded content] View Original
When people ask me where I'm from... “It was the Jim Crow south in the 1950s. Boy, we were fish out of water,” Carpenter says. “Everything I know about evil I learned in that small town of Bowling Green, Kentucky.” https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2026/jul/20/everything-i-know-about-evil-i-learned-in-that-small-town-john-carpenter-on-terrifying-the-world-with-halloween-the-thing-and-the-fog 1/2 View Original
The air quality in Providence, RI today. It's hazy with an orange overcast. We have several corsi-rosenthal style air purifiers, so our air quality is okay inside. Stay safe out there. View Original
My Christian Elementary School is in Bowling Green, KY. I (my husband, and my parents) attended WKU where Carpenters father taught. I actually grew up in a town just outside BG, which was smaller and my friends of color in BG would not come to my house. 2/2 View Original

Functional tests (like Selenium or Cypress) are quality tools, not engineering tools. Unit tests and integration tests are engineering tools. Maintaining functional tests are a full time job and will fail without constant attention. View Original
I saw too many mentions of Russia "organically" on Reddit today. A post about a Tetris repainting mentioned it. Tetris was created by a Russian-born US engineer. He's now a US engineer. I saw a "Russian" climber on a bridge earlier. The post would have been no different if I hadn't known the nationality of the climber. There's a lot of slightly positive sentiment regarding Russia right now. It's never the point of the post, it's just a meaningless detail so they can ride along into your psyche. View Original
I will be interfacing with this for something cool. Now, if I only had an idea. And time.https://www.si.edu/openaccess View Original
