I saw too many mentions of Russia "organically" on Reddit today. A post about a Tetris repainting mentioned it. Tetris was created by a Russian-born US engineer. He's now a US engineer. I saw a "Russian" climber on a bridge earlier. The post would have been no different if I hadn't known the nationality of the climber. There's a lot of slightly positive sentiment regarding Russia right now. It's never the point of the post, it's just a meaningless detail so they can ride along into your psyche. View Original

New Years in London

Our trip to London and Hyderabad already feels like a far away dream. London was a beautiful city. We rang in the new year kissing on the London Bridge over the River Thames. We slept almost all day New Years Day because Jet Lag is confusing. We left the hotel to wander London around 2pm, and it was about dusk. It was then dusk until well into the evening.
