Watercolor Daffodil

This was one of the first things I painted after my divorce, I'm unsure how often I even thought about art during my early 20's. This painting was done on the floor in a little apartment Daniel and I shared as roommates (at first). This piece gave me confidence that the light bright artist that I had been in high school was still hidden in there somewhere.
Today it hangs by my desk, so I can be reminded of the struggle I was leaving and the happiness I was on my way towards every day.
