Sausage Balls are delicious, and these are no different. These are wonderful as an appetizer for get togethers with friends and family.

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound cheddar cheese block - shred yourself, as pre-shredded is too dry
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • ¼ cup milk


  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • In a large bowl (or stand mixer with paddle attachment), combine all ingredients.
  • Form into balls (approx 0.75 oz to 1 oz) and place in mini-muffin pan (this makes crisp bottoms)
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown and the sausage is cooked through entirely.
