We were luckily home and not out on a walk. It wasn\u2019t cold enough for the ice to stay around long. It was crazy to see, but none of the ice was large enough to hurt any cars that we noticed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We hung out in Dubrovnik for a week, if you want to hear all about that, check out that blog post. The bakeries started having the most beautiful cakes and cupcakes. There were several that we couldn\u2019t resist and we had to take them home. One of our wonderful neighbors gave us a little Easter basket. It had the most beautiful naturally decorated eggs. It made us feel welcome in our neighborhood.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowing our time in Croatia was coming to an end, we made sure to spend time in Old Town Split where we lived our first several months. We had lunch at our favorite places and visited some of our favorite spots. We walked around our neighborhood and watched \u017dnjan construction. We walked around the still opened sections of the beach as much as we could.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Saturday before Easter we headed to explore Omi\u0161, find
