Soy licenciada en Bellas Artes, as\u00ed que he visto muchas obras italianas hermosas en los libros de texto. Poder ver algunas de estas obras en persona fue asombroso. Hac\u00eda varios a\u00f1os que no refrescaba mis conocimientos; no estaba totalmente preparada para la Galer\u00eda de los Uffizi.<\/p>\n<p>La Galer\u00eda de los Uffizi de Florencia fue mandada construir por la familia M\u00e9dicis en 1560. Se inaugur\u00f3 como galer\u00eda de arte en 1581, y finalmente estuvo a disposici\u00f3n del p\u00fablico en 1737. El museo tal y como lo conocemos hoy se inaugur\u00f3 en 1769. Contiene colecciones de arte desde la Edad Media hasta la Edad Moderna. Nunca he estado personalmente en una colecci\u00f3n tan densa de obras de arte hist\u00f3ricas.<\/p>\n<p>Aqu\u00ed se han escrito much\u00edsimos trabajos de investigaci\u00f3n, libros de texto y otras obras educativas sobre el arte. Se han dedicado vidas a comprender incluso las peque\u00f1as obras que pudimos ver. No hace falta decir que fue abrumador. Un d\u00eda no es tiempo suficiente para asimilarlo todo. Teniendo esto en cuenta, voy a resumir algunas de nuestras obras favoritas o m\u00e1s destacadas<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-2\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-headline\" data-index=\"2\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-headline so-widget-sow-headline-default-c4deb9886730-20513\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"sow-headline-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"sow-headline\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMedusa de Caravaggio\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration-inside\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"3\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><p>Casi seguro que conoces \u00e9ste. Supongo que hab\u00eda olvidado que se pint\u00f3 sobre un escudo ceremonial (en lugar de sobre un lienzo o una tabla). Es precioso y me alegro de que pudi\u00e9ramos verlo. Se ha hecho famoso en Tumblr en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Aqu\u00ed tienes un extracto del sitio web de Uffizi:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\"El Se\u00f1or lo ha abatido por la mano de una mujer\". As\u00ed dice Judit, una joven jud\u00eda de Betulia, en la Biblia cuando describe su acto heroico que liber\u00f3 al pueblo de Israel del asedio del ej\u00e9rcito de Nabucodonosor. Judit acudi\u00f3 al campamento del feroz Holofernes, general del ej\u00e9rcito enemigo, vestida con sus mejores galas y fingiendo el deseo de forjar una alianza. Impresionado por su belleza, el general asirio la invit\u00f3 a un suntuoso banquete en su tienda. Tras comer y beber, Holofernes, ya borracho, se durmi\u00f3 en su lecho, lo que permiti\u00f3 a Judit aprovechar la ocasi\u00f3n para desenvainar su cimitarra y asestar el golpe mortal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>- de https:\/\/www.uffizi.it\/en\/artworks\/judith-beheading-holofernes<\/p>\n<p>Como dicen en Chicago, se lo merec\u00eda. Fue una pieza asombrosa de ver, desde el tono de la piel hasta el hermoso tratamiento de la tela y la sangre que brotaba, rezumaba belleza y car\u00e1cter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-6\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-headline\" data-index=\"6\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-headline so-widget-sow-headline-default-c4deb9886730-20513\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"sow-headline-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"sow-headline\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tRembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration-inside\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-7\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"7\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><p>Pudimos ver al menos dos de Rembrandt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Autorretrato (hacia 1655)<\/li>\n<li>Viejo en un sill\u00f3n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Siempre me ha gustado la obra de Rembrandt. Es tan oscura e inconfundible. Normalmente, cuando pintas, empiezas cubriendo la superficie con gesso blanco (pigmento blanco y un relleno como tiza o s\u00edlice). Esto crea una superficie mejor para captar la pintura y una base a partir de la cual trabajar. De mi \u00e9poca en la escuela, recuerdo haber le\u00eddo que utilizaba una base oscura. La luz no es el estado natural de las cosas, as\u00ed que empezaba con oscuridad y luego utilizaba la luz como elemento activo para dar vida al lienzo.<\/p>\n<p>Ver un autorretrato original de Rembrandt fue una aut\u00e9ntica delicia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-8\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-headline\" data-index=\"8\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-headline so-widget-sow-headline-default-c4deb9886730-20513\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"sow-headline-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"sow-headline\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tLaocoonte y sus hijos por Baccio Bandinelli\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration-inside\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-9\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text\" data-index=\"9\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><p>Esta es otra obra que casi seguro que has visto, aunque no conozcas su nombre. El original es una obra maestra de la Antigua Roma que fue desenterrada en 1506. Se cree que data del a\u00f1o 80 d.C. El original se encuentra en los Museos Vaticanos. \u00c9sta de los Uffizi es una recreaci\u00f3n de 1520 realizada por Baccio Bandinelli, el artista favorito de los M\u00e9dicis.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de haber caminado durante horas viendo obras de la antig\u00fcedad de viejos maestros, resulta dif\u00edcil sentirse abrumado. Llegados a ese punto, en el mejor de los casos te sientes \"abrumado\". Pero \u00e9sta es asombrosa de ver, incluso con saciedad art\u00edstica. Es enorme e impactante.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-10\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-headline\" data-index=\"10\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-headline so-widget-sow-headline-default-c4deb9886730-20513\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"sow-headline-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"sow-headline\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tVarios bustos (en Herms)\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"decoration-inside\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-20513-0-0-11\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text panel-last-child\" data-index=\"11\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><p>Como he dicho antes, esto llega a ser agotador. Hay tantas obras hermosas que no podr\u00edas absorberlo todo en un d\u00eda. Hab\u00eda muchas estatuas y bustos asombrosos. Algunas de mis favoritas eran<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\u00f3crates<\/li>\n<li>Agrippa<\/li>\n<li>Emperador Felipe el \u00c1rabe<\/li>\n<li>Francisco I de M\u00e9dicis<\/li>\n<li>Cabeza de un hombre sobre una herma, conocido como Xen\u00f3crates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-20513-0-1\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-20513-0-1-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"12\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce
